Pretty sure this is Dino based on a few I have spoke to. Check photos and please let me know, I hate this stuff. A few dont show it so well but its the same brown snot with bubbles but just a long strand. I used a turkey baster to suck out what I can and up until today was only on the one side but I found some on the other side of the tank today. Tank is only a month old, (it was cycled properly). Water levels all good except Calcium a little low (400) I am dosing daily. I have 4 tiny juvenile clowns, 2 juvenile hippo tangs, 1 purple dotty back (psedocromis) and 1 flame hawk. I have about 10 small coral frags, including a few Zoa. 1 small hammer coral, and 1 decent size leather. Got a handful of turbo snails and hermit crabs, none are dead yet, I have seen a few eating the stuff and heard it will kill them. Please let me know if lights out and H202 is in order. I have the tank covered and am waiting on the responses. Thanks guys.

I had a dino outbreak in a seahorse tank with no ill affects. I cleaned it as it popped up and eventually it went away.

I am covered up at this point and dosing H2O2. I been cleaning up with a baster for a couple days and its getting worse. heard too many horror stories of the take over of this stuff.

Just checking in, Day 2 covered up, dosing with 13 ML of H2O2. Took a peek in there today with flashlight and saw a dead hermit. Not sure if he ate some of the Dino or committed suicide, lol. Its dark in there. Got him out of there, and I dont see any others. I got full circulation on, not 100% that is correct either. All my Turbo snails are up at the top of the glass, not sure if the doseing is affecting them or they are confused and just climbing stuff. Anyone have any feedback on what to expect. I hear I am going to have a super clean tank, but likely Dino will come back? Anyway, its killing me having it covered up since its my daily get away from it all. Only been at this for a little while and it takes some work.
