I've been battling them for over a month. I did 3 days of blackout while raising my ph to 8.4 and dosing dino x to try and kill them. I thought they were dead and gone after 3 weeks so I recently stopped dosing and went back to running my lights on a day and night cycle. After a few days there was noticible dino on the sand bed as well as my power heads and a piece of coral. I know the dino was dying the way I did it before. Is it too soon to start dosing again? I just started to bring my ph back up to 8.4 again as well as just running blue lights today to see if that helps. My corals are already unhappy from all of this. I know 3 more days of darkness would probably do the trick but am not sure my corals would make it. Honestly I don't mind fighting them off for another month as long as they will be gone and stay gone( that's when I go on vacation for 12 days and will have a non reefer looking after my tank. Also my snails all just started dying and I was told that dying dino pollutes the water so I'm running gas to hopefully soak that up. (I wasn't during the dosing). I think I've read all of the info out there to beat them. I am just wondering if I should fight it slowly for a couple weeks to give my corals a chance to recoup or if now before they get too bad again should I go all out on trying to get rid of them for good.
