Many stringy tiny bubbles, is it dinoflagellate?

Yes it is and read the thread above. It will take a long time to get rid of it but they can be beaten.

It does seem that Dinos are much more prevalent in new tanks using uncured rock, vs using cured live rock. The next tank I setup will definitely be using as much cured live rock as possible.

Here is what has worked for me to all but eradicate Dinos from my 75g. I have been battling them for about a month or so now and they are all but gone.

Stuff you will need.

Spectracide Stump Remover (potassium nitrate)
Brightwell Micro-Bactor7
Seachem Stability
tsibe pods - adequate amount for your tank.
Extra long turkey baster
Extra Filter socks
UV sterilizer ( like this one https://www.amazon.com/Sterilizer-A...=1538591289&sr=8-3&keywords=13w+uv+sterilizer )
Patience.

Stop carbon dosing and/or bio-pellets.
Dose the tank with stump remover, be sure to use the calculator at the following site to calculate how much you will need to add to raise your nitrate levels to 20-40 PPM and keep them there for at least a month possibly longer. Keep in mind it may take two-three days of dosing to raise it to the required level.
Stop water changes unless absolutely necessary. You may see cyano, or GHA pop up. This is normal as were increasing nutrients, but you want them to out compete the dinos so it's OK.

Once you have the Nitrates elevated, dose with Brightwell MicroBactor 7 ( Shut off your skimmer for at least 4 hours after dosing)
Wait 24 hours and start dosing SeaChem Stability (follow steps as is tank was new)
Use the turkey baster and suck up as much as you can to remove it.
Install the UV sterilizer and adjust the flow rate to about 50% and close off the air inlet.
Dose the tank with pods.
After 24 hours with the UV sterilizer running, using the turkey baster blast as much of the dinos off the rock as you can letting them float free.
Let the system run overnight and change the filter sock (s) in the morning.

Let the system run as normal, follow the Stability steps for dosing and suck up any new dinos that appear.
After 48 hours repeat the Micro Bactor7 dosing steps.
Continue to manually remove the dinos as you see them.
Every 3-4 days blast what ever dinos off instead of sucking them out, be sure to always replace the filter sock the next morning.

You should notice that over the next 3-4 weeks the dinos will fade away to where you're not seeing any for days at a time.

I'm currently at this point in dealing with them, so keep in mind that it may take 2 or more months before the tank has matured enough where the dinos are not going to be an issue.
