In today’s video Blaine takes us on a crash course on Dinoflagellates. One, if not the biggest reason, why so many aquarists get out of the hobby is dinos. Let’s get a better understanding of why these problems occur, how we can identify these dino strains, and how to properly rectify these nuisances.

What is the minimum power needed in a microscope to properly identify your dinos?

I’m no pro. But I’ve been searching for Dino and cyano identification. Seems like most people are talking 400 magnification.
This is a good baseline to work from!
