Dinoflagellates?

I have a couple questions...First can anyone confirm this is dinos? I have this in my refugium and it looked like dinos to me so I took the light off and I'm letting it die. Second, do I need to worry about any toxins entering my tank when the algae in my fuge starts to die?

#chrysophytes maybe. Try the tests listed in the Dino sticky at the top of the forum, or get some out and look under a microscope.
