Need some advice on removing Dino what should I do. I have been treating it as cyano due to LFS miss identifying. Do I go at it manually or go to chemicals. It is a mixed reef with corals and fish.

No disrect intended here...just trying to help...
I personally wouldnt dose anything in my tank when there are natural solutions to be used.

Understanding why the problem occurred is the first step, then knowing how to deal with it so you then learn how to observe things before it gets out of hand is next.

Do some research on this forum for natural ways to remedy this, if I would just tell you, you wouldn’t learn as much....himt...it’s not hard at all to remedy your problem

If you run into problems understanding a remedy, come back to the thread and ask more questions

I first tried dosing silicates
That didn’t work because I don’t think I was dosing enough
Stopped doing water changes , rose my alkalinity and pH and added a uv
Things are starting to look better
Doing first water change in months tonight
