Hey all, a couple weeks ago I noticed this algae taking over my tank. It's a new tank so I figured it was just another part of the ugly stage, but recently realized that it may be dinos. Any ideas what it is?

But dinos are a part of the uglies [emoji846]
I wouldn't care what exactly is in there (multiple classes of organism I'd bet) until the tank is well established.

I should add, it hasn't gotten any longer than maybe half an inch long. Most pics I see of dinos are long strands, and this is pretty short. It also doesn't have bubbles in it

Yea I just hear about how hard it is to get rid of and was hoping I could prevent it
