well turns out ive got dinoflaggetes instead of bubble algae. anyhow im seeing bubbles and snotty like reddish algae. its more on the sand then rocks. any good ways to rid it ? im thinking about trying the peroxide method from what ive read it seems to kill it. just any peroxide work? what is the best ways to kill it ? im getting tired of seeing it already. my tank is cycled and have 4 fish ,two clowns, firefish, yellow tail damsel. also three turbo snails and 4 blue leg hermits. im running chemipure elite, purgen also . would the peroxide hurt that stuff? im fairly new to this stuff. my tank is 24 nano. thanks

I am having the same problem. I read on another forum that Marin Fauna Algae X kills it but I can not find it anywhere. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks appreciate the help. im going to try peroxide I guess. pretty frustrating though invest this kind of cash and at the end of the cycle get this garbage. best wishes to you also let me know whether that method works also .

My two cents from my experience with this is to just let it cycle thru and it will disappear just like it appeared. I tried perioxide and lights out and it would come back. It just eventually cleared up. I was also offered the advice to just let it run its course by a very successful commercial coral farmer from Ohio.

okay ,thanks guys. should i stop with water change for a while ? ive read probably is best to stop with water change because it feeds on it.
