Dinos and the nuclear option

I am not going with the nuclear option right now since I have barely begun to fight the dinos. That said, if the nuclear option is the only choice I have a 5 gallon tank I can put most of my corals and other animals. How long can 2 clownfish survive in a 5 gallon? Also how can I ensure my corals are clean dino wise? I won't resort to nuking the tank unless I have no choice. I just want to know the animals will survive. Thank you.

With good filtration and water changes, they'll be fine until they start banging into the sides. As long as we're talking months and not years here...

Lol definitely not years. Hopefully not even months. I believe that once I get nitrates and phosphates where they need to be that the stage will be set for the right bacteria to grow and outcompete the dinos.
