I am not going with the nuclear option right now since I have barely begun to fight the dinos. That said, if the nuclear option is the only choice I have a 5 gallon tank I can put most of my corals and other animals. How long can 2 clownfish survive in a 5 gallon? Also how can I ensure my corals are clean dino wise? I won't resort to nuking the tank unless I have no choice. I just want to know the animals will survive. Thank you.

Why do you assume you would need to do that? What is your phosphate level?

I don't have any test kits at the moment but I am going to get a Hanna low range checker soon. I am getting a microscope soon so I can id the dinos I have. The only way I'd consider nuking the tank would be as a totally last resort. I have just begun fighting this but if I were to have to do something drastic I just wanted to know my animals would survive it.

Get the ulr.

Also, does it dissipate at night time?

Usually some form of uv or dosing phosphates seems to fix the issue in most cases I've encountered (uv depends on the type of dino)

It dissipates partially at night but what's on my rocks tends to stay. I will get the ulr checker.
