Dinos? Diatoms? Other? please help ID

Definitely not dino. I always have things stuff during a cycle and it’s either brown Cyano or slimy diatom

Well I have chemiclean but I am reluctant to use that besides a last resort if it is Cyano.
I haven't noticed it worsening since adding silicate so I doubt diatoms. and when initially testing silicate it was only at .04. Too bad I don't have a microscope so I can know for sure..

Tried silicate dosing.. tried H2O2 dosing.. both had a marginal, short term effect.
I bit the bullet and got a 25 Watt Aqua UV sterilizer, combined with a two day blackout and they are gone. Glad to have white sand again!!

I will note that I noticed great polyp extension on my euphyllia while silicate dosing so I may resume as my corals may be feeding on the diatoms. May be unrelated.. we'll see.

Anyways, UV ftw!!
