Hi,

I have a 6 month old tank. I have 6 fish (2 Clown, 2 Cardinalfish, Royal gramma, firefish) and cleaner shrimp. I have a couple Hammer corals as well as GSP and Zoa's. I installed a roller filter a few weeks ago and I believe that caused my nitrates and phosphates to bottom out. I have had what i believe to be a Dino's for about a month. My LFS recommended turning the roller filter off and overfeed to get the nitrates up - which I am doing with little success yet (only been 2 weeks feeding 1 mysis shrimp cube and 1 brine shrimp cube daily) and still no increase yet.

I thought about getting a UV installed to help combat the Dino however it doesn't seem to disappear at night and go into the water column like some threads suggest.

I have attached a video of the Dino under a microscope, can someone confirm if 100% dino and what the best solution would be to get rid of it please

It is really hard to see the dinos up close in the video. But, they seem to be moving quickly like and possibly have the small "beak" present like Small Cell Amphidinium dinos. That would be my guess.
