Dino's maybe??

Do Dino's go away at night? Because I have an algae or something that is on a couple of my rocks, and it does not go away at night. stays about the same size day and night. If I could take a pic of it I would but it's kinda hard because it's in the pores of the rocks.

What's the color/shape of the algae?

It's growing in strings but no bubbles on them. It's brown I'm doing the Dino's test right now. Suck some of it up shake it in a containers run through a filter sock and put it in light for an hour, and apparently if it comes back it's dinos
