Purchased a few frags (sps & lps) who doesn't want to reef anymore. He has been battling dinos for over a year. All frags will be on plugs. I will be picking them up on Sunday. Will CoralRX kill the dinos before place them in QT? Any treatment I should do before placing in QT besides CoralRX?

I run a 36w Jabeo on an 80 shallow with 40 breeder sump. Tried everything for Dino. Best and least harmful cure for me. In 24-48 hours I was 100% clear! A few pics shot 24hrs apart

I don't have photos like @ReeferMaddness843 , but I was fighting dinos daily. I bought a 36 watt UV sterilizer and it was cleared up in a day or two. I still have to maintain the tank and occasionally scrape algae -- but the dinos are gone. If I want to kill parasites I would need to purchase a larger UV sterilizer.

UV sounds like a good iron to hook up to your quarantine tank and then observe. If the dinos are on the corals, they will get into your main system.... during from experience here, and I dipped heavily into CoralRx! Dinos ruined my coral QT...and stupid me... trying to save at least one frag of palys, i dipped them in coral rx AND a peroxide solution and moved that frag to my DT... then my DT was hit with Dinos! Im pretty sure it came from that frag since it was the first and only coral I had in my DT!
