Dino's or algae with bubbles stuck to it?

Been following your work for a bit since I originally had some red cyano and based on your research and plethora of information made available I was able to positively id and eradicate that a good while back with your h202 method. Thanks for all you do for the hobby by the way!
 
One of the rocks it almost has a spongy type of growth.

Thank you! I put a lot of time in this. When I get home from classes I will check out the pictures.
 
It shows a bright green early when lights first come on, seems to "die back a bit" through the day and by the next am is back to a bright green. Thought that info may help on id as well.
 
What I've seen so far, lead me to believe it's a silicate based algae. Is that correct? If so, do rodi units remove silicate? I slacked for a while on water changes and the tank got unbelievably clean and clear once before. Nutrients remained undetectable, and parameters constant during the 2 or so months I didn't do changes. After some homework and questioning here I realized I may have been missing out on trace elements that we as hobbiests don't test for so went back to my regularly programmed water changes. And come to think of it, that's about the point the uglies started to come back. Never put those 2 together before until now. I assumed a 0 tds reading would mean no silicates. Unfortunately i did a water change yesterday, which may be what fueled the fire today making it just unbearable to look at compared to before.

the bad thing is I just started working with these guys last month. No data is available yet. (H2O2 will not work)
They have a significant rate of cell division and chloroplast heavy. Also pose a great mechanism for environmental change. Almost relate to how dinoflagelletes group for protection and produce the "slime" feel.

The water change is adding the elements needed for survival. I will gone for a few hours. I will return!
 
I am back home now and am able to get a better look at the pictures. From what I am seeing I do believe you have a species of Oscillatoria limosa. Is that a little GHA on the rocks under the bacteria?
 
Unsure. It does have some areas with hairlike characteristics, but it's mostly a flat lying growth. The areas that are "hairy" look more chunky and fatter strands than the gha I've seen
 
Oscillatoria limosa is similar to phormidium and they both act the same but Oscillatoria limosa will look a dark green due to the tight cell chains and Phormidium will look a pale bright green and in dense mass a dark red. I am putting my money on one of those 2.
 
Funny you mention the red look. There's one spot under my torch that looks almost cyano like. Possible to be a combo of both? Any suggestion on eradicating? I'll be doing homework on all the mentioned and see what info I can find as well. I appreciate you taking your time to help out.
