I don't have my parameters at the moment, I can update later. But my tank is a year and a half old, 60 gallons. The last 3 weeks I've had this algae issue (I also have a micro bubble problem). Do you think it's Cyano or Dinos? My LFS says Dinos are relatively rare and to use chemiclean. Here are some pics.

Looks like cyano to me. The bubble thing isn't really a tell tale for dinos. Cyano, diatoms, chrysophytes and other types of bacteria can show bubbles.

But let's get to your filtration, inhabitants, and tank parameters(Ca, Alk, Mag, NO3, Po4). What are they? :)

Mostly cyano I think
Are you feeding any amino foods or carbon sources like vitamin c
The only thing I dose is nopox (1ml) usually every other day. I started dosing quite some time ago to help with a nitrate spike (like 6 months ago). For food, they get mysis every other day and are fed twice a day with NLS thera-a.

Looks like dyno to me. Had it once when i started a nano before i broke it down and restarted. Great coralline btw.
I agree with @Dr.Xipoles do not tear it down though. I am trying something different as @reeferfoxx is doing. let the system ride and let the algae compete and starve itself out. :)

I have an aqua clear 70 HOB filter, skimmer. 3 anthias, 1 foxface and 3 clowns. A couple conches /snails and crabs.
pH is 8.1
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10
Calcium 580 (it's always high)
Phosphate 0 (or so it says lol)
KH 11
I no longer have a mg test due to toddler shenanigans.

Should I continue water changes (I do 10% weekly) etc? Or do I need to do something before it gets out of control?

I would stop doing water changes. Stop dosing everything. No carbon dosing. Feed twice a day.

I just got all sweaty reading "no water changes." Lol.

Hahaha.

It's been my observation that there are odd cycles in the tank.
It could have been a food two weeks ago. It could have been higher co2 for the last couple of weeks becuse it's finally cold and the heat it's on.

See how it goes. Keep an eye on it.
It could just be a runny nose and not a cold. ;)

It's the no pox. It's bacteria food. Carbon dosing
