Dinos or Diatoms?

Diatoms often associated with new tanks as the sand contains silicates as does many water sources.
You can reduce white light intensity slightly and siphon as needed
It’s amazing how as reefers strive to keep tank clean and white and soon get excited when we see purple coraline and algae for the tangs

Great thanks! Yes my CUC has been munching away. I will just keep up maintenance and have it naturally go away in about a week or two. Right?
