Still looks more like Cyano to me. Less common than the red, there is also green Cyano.
I would gravel vac as much of the offending areas as possible for a start.
Check nutrients, have lots of flow. Cyano USUALLY goes away on its own, but there are alternative methods if things really get out of hand

If there is no change and they don’t recede, then I would vote Cyano. Your nutrients are pretty low but like you said, it’s very possible it’s being used up. How’s your flow and bioload + feeding habit? And what are you doing for nutrient export? Water changes, siphoning as much of that out as you can, increasing flow, limiting nutrient input will help if it is truly Cyano.

Tank is a 120. bioload is a small foxface,small purple tang, blue star leopard wrasse , pair of clowns , firefish and an algae blenny so pretty low in my opinion. Flow is 2x MP40. Nutrient export is Aquamaxx FC 280 skimmer and 30gl water change every other week

What do you feed the tank with? As mentioned before it looks more like cyano. Cyano is typically dark red but can also be blue, green, or brown. Dinos will usually develop noticeable air bubbles especially when the lights are on. I’d increase the flow, change out filter socks or other mechanical filters regularly, water changes and vacuuming what you can from the surfaces in the tank, and the Id look closely at what foods I’m using. DO NOT dose the “magic potions” either unless the corals start to die from the slime, they will somewhat “work” but unless you find the cause of the slime you will inevitably have to deal with it again.

I rotate between pellets flakes and mysis for feeding. I feed once or twice a day. I havent thrown any chemicals at it yet since i wasn't sure what it actually is and i dont like using chemicals if i dont have to

Im at a bit of a loss as to what this stuff is. It doesnt blow off the rocks so i scrubbed a couple areas with a toothbrush and it was back in a few days. Ive been skipping water changes to keep levels up. No3 2.5 Po4 .098. I was thinking about trying the Dr Tims waste away/refresh method. Would this do any harm if it isn't Dinos?

I recently added some of the little gold astrea snails. They have eaten some of what is on the back glass but not some much for the sand and rocks. Im not sure what is on the glass is even the same as what is on the sand and rocks

Im thinking it might be amphidinium but im not positive. Im thinking about doing the Dr tims waste away.refresh method and seeing if that works. Was really hoping to get a positive ID before deciding on a plan of action. Do i need better pics?
