Dinos?

Hi! My tank is a little over 3 mo old. Ph- 8.1, salinity 35.1, temp 78, dKh 8.2, nitrate 4.1, phosphate .01. I suddenly have A LOT of this brown dusty looking stuff covering the bottom of the tank. I just vacuumed it all up yesterday and it has already returned. Do these look like Dinos or will I need to get a microscope to be sure? Thank you.

This could be anything.
The pic is so dark and has so much glare, it makes an identification impossible.

Looks like dinos to me. Can you blow it away with a pipette or is it firm?

i'd say probably. you can get a cheap microscope on amazon for less than $50 to help confirm and ID what type of dinos. it's not a bad investment considering the costs of literally everything else lol

You can start by doing the coffee filter test and if it looks like dinos, then get a microscope to find out what kind. There are different ways to treat depending on the type.

You can blow it with a pipette. It kind of looks like Reef Roids.
