Hello, some zoa frags have not been opening fully so gave them a hydrogen peroxide dip. About two or three little critters came out swimming rapidly and then eventually dying. Can someone identify for me? I dont know what pods look like, but if my zoas weren't opening im thinking some type of pest. Sorry couldnt get better pics.

Thanks! Tank relatively young and never seeded so wasnt sure if I could have any. Though they dont hurt zoas right? Then must be something else causing it not to open

They will not hurt anything in the tank. Try removing carbon if you're using it, I have always found this to help with zoas that won't open.

Hmm I am running carbon. I'll try that. Though I thought most ppl run carbon?

Sorry I should have been more clear, I just remove it for a few days or until they are opened up and start to look healthy. There are obviously other things that can factor in to them being partially closed but this is where I usually start and then add my carbon back a day or so after they look normal
