Dipping Green Bubble Tip?

Got a bubble tip and was wondering if it's fine to dip it in Revive or lugol's iodine

I really don't know but from what I understand no. I just looked it up and yes it's ok but be very very careful about the amount of iodine used (shhh. I looked it up on google and it took me to reef central shhh)
