Hey reefers, so I dip all my coral frags in bayers, but I just purchased a big birdsnest colony it's about 7" by 5", I've never dipped anything of this size before, would it be okay? Or should I dip it in something less potent like revive?

I’ve dipped large colonies of pocillopora before never had an issue should not be a problem. I dip all corals the same as if they were a frag.

Just like dipping any other coral. . . just need larger container. I have a 15" X 12" and had to use a tub to do this.

Was too big to fit in 5 gallon bucket

I have a Lithophyllon which is probably a good 8 inch diameter (big circle basically) and had no issues dipping it and acclimating it to its new tank.
