I have a single small colony of Acro on a decontrol size rock. Not huge but not small I was wondering if dipping he woke rock in bayer would be detrimental. The reason for this is red bugs.. Obviously many rinses in fresh tank water after the dip is a must but Is there anything else I need to worry about or is it just a bad idea all around

I say bad idea.

It will permeate that rock and then leach out over a period of time. In addition, the death caused by the Bayer in the rock will cause a small cycle.

Bayer is a fantastic coral dip, NOT a tank treatment medication. You will still need to treat your tank with Interceptor.

I have been thinking about the interceptor.... What else does it kill? Pods etc will I need to repopulate them afterwards?
