I have been in the hobby now for about 6 months. I think I finally have enough confidence to add a couple of starter corals to my 90G. I was thinking possibly a Cyphastrea on the overflow and maybe a couple mushrooms to start. I really enjoy Zoas but are they considered starter corals? My current lighting is a FLuval Marine and Reef LED. And I have the potential for a lot of flow in the tank. Help and suggestions appreciated!

I don’t have any cyphastrea but have had lots of mushrooms. I would put mushrooms on their own rock, although they will find their way about the rest of the tank. I personally would get green star polyps and put it on its rock. Then go from there. Check out this thread
