Dipping trumpet corals and found this!

Hello everyone. I just dipped 2 trumpet corals and I found this at the bottom of the bowl. I called the online store I got it from and they said it was a spirorbid worm and that they are harmless. I am hopping this is a kind of microfauna and nothing bad! Please help me ID this thing.

2nd, should be harmless. Pretty cool critters I run a pretty nutrient rich tank and have bunch of tiny ones in my sump chambers.

What else can you tell me? How about a bed time story? Lol, I wasn't looking for an in-depth answer, I just wanted to make sure it was not harmful. It does not look like a spirorbid worm, but more like microfauna. Was hoping someone can tell me the name. But I appreciate the feedback. Thanks everyone!

Resembles more spionid worm than spirobid, maybe your spell check changed it,spirobid worms have white calcerous spiral shells and attach to rocks,glass and filter feeders and spionid worms are white like yours and have 2 palps at front which use to filter feed ( palps like tentacles) alot consider harmless filter feeders and beneficial part of your micro cuc,but others say can irritate some corals and stop corals from opening up,most wrasses will eat them.
So look if they got the 2 palps at front,when I've seen them in my tank,can just about see with naked eye and like 1cm long,I personally think cool little critters and not noticed no harm

Hi ying yang. Thanks for the feedback. He fell off and died during dipping so there are none that I introduced into the tank, but from what I see in your post it is most likely spirobid. Thanks!
