Hello I am in dire need of a PAR meter! I have the opportunity to test a new LED lighting model, really not officially yet on the market, and hopefully report the results here for everyone on reef 2 reef.
But without a par meter I really can't effectively measure its power, ensuring that the current inhabitants of the tank remained safe and don't get an overdose of light.. Or potentially hurt by the inverse.
Any help on a lead for a meter is appreciated! I'm a long time member of the marine community, and can provide references as well as work phone numbers, my secretary's phone number, address, cell and other information. If you're local, I'm glad to send you some frags as compensation!
