Any ideas on what this brown "dirt" is in my salt water mixing tank? The pattern is from the flow created when the pump runs four times a day for a few minutes. Salt is Tropic Marin and has been mixed for several weeks. Water is RODI with zero TDS. What I can reach of it wiped off easily. Not easy to see in pic but the tank is half full.

I use the German TM stuff and it's always mixed crystal clear.
I'm almost certain that is what I have. TM pro reef. It was purchased within the past three months from BRS so I wouldn't imagine it's Turkish. Unfortunately the shipping label always covers the box origin information..

Look at the side of the bucket - it will indicate where it was manufactured.

It's not a bucket, it's boxes. Any attempt to tear the shipping label off will remove the box label which is underneath. I don't believe BRS was shipping tainted product as recently as June.
