So I have some gunk going on in my tank ... some nastys green palys that are over taking my tank, purple clove polyps, and some majanos. Some rock I am able to pop the sps off the rock and re-mount it on to some new rock I have. But I want to give the rock a bath and kill all the CRAP that is on there.

If I remember correctly, I am thinking I can just give them a hydrogen peroxide bath for a few minutes, then re-soak the rock and wash it off with some saltwater, then put it back into the tank?

I am thinking this also may not be correct but its been a while since I looked into this.. so just wanted to double check.

Thanks and look forward to the advice

Once you kill life on that rock, it will continue to decay and cause for spikes in nitrates and phosphates for months. I'd recommend that if you wish to "kill" the rock, that you then cure that rock to allow the decay to leach out.

First be careful with killing palys...take precautions and second exactly what was said ^^^^. Once you killed them you have let it cure to leach everything out.
