Dirty sandbed

Hi all so last weekend i turned my gfo reactor off. Media had exhausted i thought and po4 holding stable 0.04 to 0.07. 2 days later my sand bed is dirty. I cleaned the sand yesterday around 2pm and the pic attached is at 9pm under whites. No3 10.0 po4 0.07 as of last night with gfo running again diatoms, dinos ????

Looks like diatoms. You just need a good cleanup crew (conches, nassarius and cerith snails).

Same here....

Out of nowhere, one morning it was there. Day before i upgrade my light, so, i tought if was simply reaction to that.....

Three months later.....the same, nothing changed, tried cleaning, vacuming, blowing..... One day is good, next morning here we go again. Still unable to figure out why, so, not really helpfull, but just to give some support here.....

I have 5 black sea cucumbers that literally strip-mine the sand bed; not everyone is sold on these, but I find them to be awesome.
