Disappearing Gobies

What is the longest your Goby has gone 'missing' before showing up again?

I haven't seen mine in about three weeks now. I know he is still under the rock due to all the mounds of sand, burials, and tunnels.
As said above, gobies can vanish for a year however generally they only hide for a few weeks or months.
It will help to know what species your goby is. Some are bolder (Such as Stonogobiops species) but others are shyer (such as Trimma species)

It is a high fin goby.

I’m assuming it’s a Stonigobiops yasha, mine rarely comes out. I only see it is I look closely or I stay to watch that tank feed.

Sorry, but it is actually the high fin red banded goby. (I don't know the technical name). I used to see him dart out at feeding time, but not for a few weeks now. I am hoping once I move everyone over to the new tank, I will see him more.
