Disappering blenny. HELP
I'm new to the saltwater aquariums and I have had my 55 gal up for about 2 weeks with a canister filter. I have live rock live sand 5 hermit crabs an intank refugeum and 2 green chromis. I figured I would get a scooter blenny because they are awesome. So I brought a blenny and some copepods. Got him home, acclimated him. I turned him into the tank. I also put some baby brine shrimp in there and he started eating them right away. I turn off the tank lights before bed and this morning I woke up for work turned the lights on. No blenny figured he was hiding. Got home from work still no blenny. I moved all the live rock took it all out sifted the sand with my net still no blenny. I can't find home for the life of me. Any idea where he could be?

It could have died from bad levels. Post your tank parameters and we will see from their. One other thing live rock is a time bomb they have all sorts of pest that will eat your fish! Iv been there lost all my fish to a gorilla crab because the fish were stuck in the hole the gorilla crab lived in. Yes hitchhiker crabs are opportunistic feeds and will eat what they can get their claws on. The hermit crabs are fine however check at night for crabs in live rock. Did he jump? and post levels too! Hope this helps :)
