I bought 25 lbs of Pukani for my first salt water tank. I finally get the rock in and it looks nothing like the pictures on the website or the videos they post. One piece looks like reef saver and the other piece is a solid block of something.

I emailed BRS customer service and I hope this gets taken care of, if not I'm going to return my RO unit and everything else I bought for the tank and find a new retailer. It's a shame because they were so helpful on helping me pick out other items for the tank.

I've bought from them plenty of times they will fix this for sure! Great guys over there

The piece on the left is the typical pukani. I know you don't care for it, but I think the piece on the right is pretty cool. It looks dense and heavy though, that's for sure.

I know you wanted all of your rock to look like the piece on the left,,,, but you need pieces like the piece on the right also ,,, say you want to buy any of the encrusting type of corals,,, that solid structure will give your corals plenty of room to encrust, grow big and look awesome,,, in the tank it goes :)

Did you specify what type of rocks you wanted? I just received 70 pounds and asked for the most abstract peices and no round peices. And I could not be happier.

Well kind of..... lol. This is my first tank so I wasn't very specific. Andy from BRS has contacted me and we are working on it. I'm probably being way to picky but BRS is being very helpful.

I had an experience with this. I love BRS and ordered 30 pounds of dry rock from them and said I needed a lot small pieces to go into 2 nano tanks (10 gallon and 20 gallon long. I got 4 huge boulders from them. My next tank I will be using Marco rocks to say the least. But everything else from BRS has been great.

I agree that the piece on the left looks like it should and like their picture. There's nothing wrong with that one.

The other on the right, I can see how you wouldn't care for that one and how it wasn't what you were expecting/needing. I personal love it.

Just an update:
BRS customer service is amazing. Andy called me this morning and I missed the call so he emailed me. I told him what I was looking for and he took care of me. I can't thank them enough.

Billy's reef connection has some quality rock like Marco rocks but considerably less than Marcos.
