so, i was running a RS 170 50 gal tank that was about 4 months old, with 5 fish, and mixed lsp/softies, with several snails. A few wks ago, my wrasse seemed sick and disappeared - i first i thought he was hiding, but nope, he died. Then about once a week, each my remaining fish got sick and died (two clownfish, tang, and cardinal fish). I think it was brookynella, but maybe ich? I am new to this, but i am pretty sure after talking to ppl, it was one of those two. On top of this, my nitrates/phos have been reading zeros for 3-4wks - but no dinos (yet)
running carbon, gfo, skimmer, floss
So now, my corals are doing fine, my snails are also doing well. My water parameters are good, but i am fishless.
I plan on waiting the 80days before adding fish, assuming I had itch. In the meantime, what is the best way to manage running my corals fishless?
ie, should i ghost feed some fish food to keep nitrates/phos up?
Thank you!
