I’m sure a few of you are asking yourself “what is wrong with this guy?” based off of the title.

I have NEVER been able to successfully re-plug discos to rocks or plugs.

The disco always seems to work it’s way out of the glue or just isn’t secured. I have tried everything but cannot get this disco to stick for the life of me.

I use seachem reef glue and have been dabbing some on the plug then hold the discothere for about 20 seconds. Then I keep in a plate for another 5 minutes then add back to the water.

If anyone has some hacks to get this guy to stick, I’d really appreciate it.

I haven’t had much luck gluing them either, it never holds. I bought a bowl with suction cups that goes on the inside of the tank, I fill it with small pieces of rock rubble, and let the coral attach to a piece of rubble. Then I glue the rubble where I want it. I started doing this recently and so far it has been working well.

All of my discos are scattered throughout the bottom of the tank lol. They just seem to float around until they find a spot.

I’ll give this a shot.

Make sure the bowl (or whatever you want to use) is in a low flow area. Otherwise the discos will just float away

I use an acclamation box. That way it has vents and a lid. Put gravel in the bottom and leave the corals to attach then glue the gravel.
