I pick this little guy up the other day and he looked pretty. I put him Into my QT before going to the display tank. The first day in QT no color problems. The second day looked a little yellowish on the belly side. Third day it started to creep up on its left side. Total days in QT so far is 5 day. It is eating really good and is swimming around really good as well. Has a good fat belly. Would you guys treat it or see how it does?

He has a pretty bad bacterial infection, did you FW dip him to check for skin flukes?
I would do a FW dip then get him into a 90 min Ruby Reef Rally bath followed up by 14 days of Nitrofuracin Green. If you don’t have NFG you can use the Trifecta. (Metro, Kanaplex, Furan 2).
Since he is still eating and swimming well you need to get on top of this before it takes him over. If flukes are present treat with Prazi twice 5-7 days apart.

Whiteish or grey/whiteish areas should be viewed with great suspicion. They often are symptoms of bacterial infections. Best to treat with antibiotics. NFG powder is the best and quickest for fish that have been through possible rough handling, injuries, scrapes. It's a bit hard to get a hold of but your local fish store may have some on hand. If not the "Trifecta" of Metro + Furan2 + kanaplex is very effective.

I agree 100% with both of these guys.

I haven’t FW dipped him. Didn’t think of doing that for how well he is eating. I’ll have to see if my LFS has all three in not the fastest I can get that product is Friday from amazon. Do you guys think he would last till Friday? Or just hard to say?

Hard to say, bacterial infections go sideways real quick. The faster you can get him into meds the better.
