Hi all,
I purchased some sps and I received the corals yesterday. In the order there were some montis, seriatopora, stylophoras and one acro frag.
The acro looked quite dull yesterday and today looks like its discoloring. My fear is that the heating packs where not enough for keeping an appropriate temperature, but I forgot to measure the water temperature in the bags when delivered.
Any suggestion on how to make sure it recovers? Also the montiporas are a bit pale but they all have polyps out so I am less concerned about those. Any suggestion?
For now I placed them near the bottom where they get around 150-200 PAR

Haha I live in Germany but I actually am very bad with the local language. Consequence of speaking English at work and Italian at home
Nevertheless, it was a shipping from communitycorals.de. Aquadragon the shop/farmer.

Looks like some pretty serious RTN on the acro frag. It can happen with shipping shock, e.g. too hot too cold or just mishandled by the courier.

Sometimes they can recover but it's very possible it will die completely. Do not give up as long as there is some tissue left there is hope.

Keep it in gentle light, I don't think there's much else you can do but wait at this point.

It's the first time I get an Acro shipped honestly. Last time I got myself a green slimer from the shop and slowly died of STN from base up, I feared that I had some bugs but I did see nothing suspicious.
Could be that Revive is a bit harsh on the corals? I had hammers retracting a lot after dipping compared to other dips, and in the only case I did not dip the acro I had good success (well at least it is not dying).

The Acropora looks pretty concerning. I would consider a 30-90 minute ciprofloxacin bath (if available) to ward off Arcobacter. If cipro is not available, doxycycline (API Fin & Body) will work in a pinch.

I truly hope this is not a bacterial problem, since this frag was just shipped in cold weather and yesterday did not have any of those white spots. Also here in EU you cannot buy antibiotics without prescription from vet/doc.

Polyps are out on everything, just let them adjust, it's absolutely normal for them to have some "bad looks", as long as they are getting better and not worse right.

Polyps out no problems, I'd wait to see what happens in a week don't touch or move them from your best spot for new frags in your tank, I have a spot all new frags go and do the best in my tank, you must know of this spot in your tank too.

Update:
After almost 2 months sps are doing great and recovered. Only the montipora (samarensis?) is not growing, digitata, seriatopora, stylo and acro are getting color and growing day by day. Very impressive!

The only downside is that PE in the acro is much less now after some time. Probably due to some emeralds hanging out around it..
