Discolored coral

Trumpet coral was bright green now lost color. What could cause this to much light or to little light my perimeters are good and temp. Should I try moving it to shade

Corals can brown out from a number of reasons. What kind of lighting are you using and describe good parameters. It is hard to make an educated guess without knowing what everything is.

I had issue with too much light. I have backed off and color is coming back.

There is a few factors here it can be the light, it can be the temperature or it can be your salt level.
