Discos vs rhodactus

[Sump Crab]

Does anyone else have a tank that grows one very well but not the other? I’m my tank Rhodactis and ricordea grow great but discosoma, not so much.

And here is a pathetic disco that I’m sure will just melt/blow away sometime soon

IME like zoa’s sometimes one species just becomes dominate… be careful what you wish for as I’ve had purple and green shrooms go nuts, same with some palys

I’ve had a slow time with my ricordea and no mushroom growth whatsoever
who knows why ….
