Discosoma bounce mushroom?

These started off as ultra orange discosoma mushrooms (everyone always has some crazy name for the coral they sell you). Had them for a few years and the took over the tank. I gave tons away. But last year or so the few I kept started getting large bubbles. I found a thread about this happening but no one really had information on it. Thought I'd ask maybe someone new might know more about it. Sorry the are alil closed up in the picture

Those look like a rhodactis mushroom from the surface and the outer rim pattern.

I believe someone here on the forum said that these bubbles were basically cancerous cells for the coral due to the blue light. I would take this statement with a grain a salt until someone can really tell you
