What are those on my black clownfish?

Pretty serious case of ich. You’ll want get the fish into a QT treat with copper power or copper safe. Leave the DT fallow for 60 days.

If it is ick then a major relief but If brook, bad.
I know in fresh water if you raise the temperature of the tank the ick dies off because it cannot reproduce fast enough it speeds up the lifecycle

This time of the year, many are active outdoors, traveling and occupied and will at times take a little longer to respond until Labor day
Regarding your question, this fish appears to have ich. Fish will need to be quarantined and based on the coverage , tank will need to be fishless (fallow) for 6-8 weeks to assure cysts have died off without a host fish. treat in Quarantine tank and treat with Coppersafe or Copper Power at therapeutic level 2.0 - 2.25 For a FULL 30 days (do not interrupt this 30 day period) monitored by a reliable Copper Test kit such as Hanna Brand- No API brand. Also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone.

UV won’t do much on ich short of a band-aid. If you want to eradicate it from a system, fallowing the tank to starve it is the most reliable option.
Hyposalinity is an option in a fowlr, but in most cases it’s easiest to just leave inverts in the dt so fish can be treated with copper in qt.

If you want to go over kill use the UV sterilizer to stop the reproduction. And if you can put your inverts in a separate container or tank if you’re gonna does copper. Finally if you don’t have another tank UV sterilizer and raise the temperature to speed up their lifecycle If it’s just a fish do 1° to half a degree a day See if you can reach up to 82 through the course of a couple days. Only if you don’t have any corals in your tank to that might shook them

How many days do I keep the temperature?
