After the bath and putting both of them back in the QT with copper, everything went well for a couple of days. Spots went away from the foxface, and they were in the process of disappearing from the blue tang. Both fish active and eating. The next day, blue tang passed away.

Foxface stayed in the QT with copper until 2 days ago, no signs of any illness. Did a Formalin bath, and moved him in the display tank. He's looking good, he's eating, doesn't get scared, much happier than in QT.

Without your advice I might have subjected the fish to other unnecessary medications. Thank you!

That’s really odd about the blue tang dying, sorry to hear. Sometimes, when a fish is really compromised (like with flukes) a FW dip is too much for them. However, those fish were ones destined to die soon anyway. To have a fish get dipped and then start feeding fine but die a day after that doesn’t seem to indict the dip as the cause of death…..
