Hi all

I was Off and on fighting what I thought was mild ich the last couple of months. Everything was looking pretty but I had a power cut a couple of weeks ago. A couple of days after that I thought the ich had broken out again but over the week got gradually worse and feeling like it’s something else.

Worried it’s velvet but I would have though that would have killed the fish in that period of time. Mostly on the three tangs but one clown fish has it also.

All fish still eating aggressively but the tangs are swimming in the power heads on occasion, although not overly unusual for them.

Thanks in advance

I also think it looks like velvet if it's not Ich!! Help those fish ASAP!

#reefsquad Wouldn't you agree with this?

Managed to get the QT up this afternoon, a 40 gal breeder. Dosed the initial cupramine dose.

Not managing to catch any of them successful. Have a trap but they are too wise to it.

Velvet. Dont bother ramping up your copper over several days. Your fish will be dead before then. In my experience, and I've personally done this multiple times, the fish can go directly into therapudic copper. If it was ich youd have more time, but velvet can and will kill within 48 hours
