Yes. Keep a very close eye on ammonia level as you virtually have no mechanical filtration (small hang on power filter) to entrap small particles. They come with a cartridge and simply cut along top and shake the carbon onto a paper towel to use later

Tes But you are reducing the dosage of Ruby rally which cannot be measured regarding loss of chemical. Filter will also increase surface agitation and water movement

Also, when coming out of qt is it wise to do a freshwater dip just to be sure?
