I haven't noticed this before maybe it's something new or had always been there.
I have a Royal Gramma which I see can get aggressive with the clown but I've never seen either actually take bites.

The thing I'm talking about is in to the top left of his middle white stripe.

How long have you had them and have you introduced anything new to the tank recently?

Has the clown been QT'd and treated for worms and parasites? QT for incoming fish, corals, inverts, etc.?

Uh oh this doesn't sound good. My Royal Gramma and lawnmower blenny show no symptoms.

I got him on March 25, 2018. He was the last addition to the tank except for a short lived Orange Spotted Goby who was only in the tank for maybe two days before he jumped for it. The only other additions to the tank after have been corals. A blue spotted red mushroom, Orange Pavona Maldivenis, Zoanthid, and Red Cap monti. Only other change recently is that my Astrea snails have laid eggs and so i went from two to about fifteen.

Why we ask when the last wet add to the tank is that velvet and a real nasty bacterial infection are in the system these days. So on top of that the suppliers, shippers and some LFS are dosing sub therapeutic copper that begins to wear off in 7-30 days depending on the fish. Clowns have a very heavy mucus coat so it can take awhile to show symptoms.
