This morning I noticed my female Goldflake was laying on her side at the bottom of the tank and breathing heavily. She has a red spot on her side and red spot under belly at the anal gland. By this afternoon the fish is dead.

A little history, bought fish in March of 2018 as a juvenile. Went through full Qt according to 4 ford and hot rocks method. Has been in 180 DT for almost a year now. My male Interruptus Angel has always from day one, chased the GF but Never did any harm to her. I did notice she has been getting a little skinny the last few weeks. So is this a internal parasite or did she succumb to the harassment of the Interruptus? See pictures. Want to make sure if it’s a parasite I treat rest of fish. Thanks

It’s very possible that it’s aggression. Are all other fish doing ok?

Have you added anything new to the tank recently?

All other fish are fine so far. Nothing new added for many months.

Sorry for your loss :( Stress and attacks with some biting and a bacterial infection probably.
