So for some reason my JF Beach Bum Monti is discolored heavily, yet my Kung Pao Monti (pretty much the same thing) is nice and bright in the same tank. Any way to color it up?
PO4: 0.01 ppm
NO3: 1 ppm

Here's my Beach Bum

May want to raise your phosphates and nitrates up a bit. Encrusting Montipora seem to generally like lower light levels (this isn't written in stone), but with you running low PO4 and NO3 and the coral getting pounded by light may cause them to start bleaching or will have un-favorable coral coloring.

I have them both up high under radions with high flow. Since their doing well I decided to leave them there

My refugium sucks the life out of my tank. I feed 10 times a day for my Moorish idol and broadcast reef roids every day and it still won't raise my PO4 and NO3 higher and I've confirmed my tests with multiple test kits. But I didn't mind since corals have nice color, except the Beach Bum. The rich brown color looks like it was in a high nutrient tank.

I just have them in moderate-high light and high flow.

Doesnt look like any new growth so i'd assume their new, could just be a case of getting used to the tank.
