I use to use this to disinfect all the time when I was growing up on a working cattle ranch. Is this safe to use with aquatics. Mostly for QT items?

Wow this one is way over my head, I use bleach and vinegar.

Based on the active ingredients listed, it is safe to use. Provided you rinse thoroughly afterwards.

However, bleach would probably be more effective against encysted parasite tomonts (still on the glass, equipment, etc.) than ammonium chloride + Tributyltin oxide.

You use bleach for net dips and full cleaning.i just don't want some silly thing to pass something on. Later on down the road.

Yes; or vinegar + 24 hours of air dying with a fan blowing.
