Are these guys known as jumper? I have 40 gallon shallow with no lid, im not sure if it's suitable for my tank?

Every fish can jump I have 125 gallon no lids just dont spook the fish.

Yup. Any fish can and will jump with the right motivation.

they are shallow water fish and very active swimmers and need 125 gal atleast and needs to be kept in groups with 1 male and few females. they need to be fed 4-6 times a day. regarding jumping, all fish can jump depending on whats going on.

Yeah I think the more pressing issue is that 40 gallons is pretty small for them.
