Are theses fish that hard to keep long term?
I got 9 total from Divers Den and had 5 survive qt. Then added 7 more to my 120 so a total of 12. Seems like you always get one nice fish and really small ones to make up a group. Lost 2 to my mp 10 overnite, lost two more that just disappeared. Then the calm. After several months they were fattening up. The big male of the group got lymphoma and my fireshrimp tore them off his tail causing an infection and I lost him. Down to 7 now. Shortly afterwards the smallest one seemed to start getting smaller. Had to leave town for a funeral and could only get the tank fed once when it should have been 5 times. It never recovered and just went away. In the past two weeks I have lost two more small ones. I feed Calanus, rotifers and plankton mixed with various other foods so they get small stuff and I feed heavy several times a day.
I really love these fish but don’t want to waste money restocking them once my qt guy is back up and running.
Thanks, Jim

Bump for anyone with experience here! My understanding is that anthias can be aggressive and leave you with one fish ultimately. However, I know some have been successful at keeping them in groups. I know that answer isn't helpful, but hopefully someone else will chime in. Best of luck!!
