On my friday my 56 g display fuge will be up and ready and has a waterfall thst goes into my 90

The tank has 60 lbs of live sand and 25 lbs of live rock this gives it a dsb.

I want to place 5 or 6 manglolds in the tank .

What is the best way to do mangroves for this

A) seeds i plant and let grow till they get to the top

B) ones that started leaveing them out and letting thwm grow down to the sand bed

C) create a box halfway up the tank on one of the sides for them to grow in

Not looking for immediate nutrient pull just want what will be best long term.

Is there risk of roots being to strong in sand bed and breaking glass

Ended up with 110 lbs of sand and it is 7" deep

Nice. Mine is 6" deep. I would use mangroves that have leaves to start if possible. Most important is to have atleasr a few inchs out of the water. Mist the top with fresh water as often as you can. This is my fuge. Let me know if I can help in any way. :-)
